We kicked off the year in the best way possible with our incredible Presenting Masterclass led by the amazing Gemma Hunt! It was an inspiring and energetic session, filled with practical games, creative challenges, and brilliant presenting techniques. The students had an absolute blast learning from Gemma’s wealth of experience, gaining confidence in front of the camera, and even creating their own show. What a fantastic start to 2024!
September 2024 saw us kick off a fantastic insight to the world of puppetry. Sarah Mardel is a movement coach and puppeteer for stage and screen, and has worked on Netflix ‘Man vs Bee’ starring Rowan Atkinson (she was the bee!), and lots of our favourite films- Disney's live action The Little Mermaid, Wicked, Tom & Jerry and Fantastic Beasts, as well as on stage for the National Theatre's West End adaptation of War Horse.
Huge thank you to West End performer Ben Kerr for leading us in a fantastic session on storytelling through movement and dance! This Special Workshop focused on his extensive experience in RSCs Matilda the Musical where we were able to ask questions, get moving and get revolting!
